Swell

6-Drawer Wide Assembled Dresser (56") - Retail Exclusive

Is the Swell 6-Drawer Dresser actually sturdy enough to last through the baby years and beyond?

Yes — customers consistently describe it as heavy, solid, and well-constructed, noting it's made of real wood. The smooth-gliding drawers and robust build make it a piece parents feel confident investing in for the long haul.

What makes the Swell dresser stand out visually in a nursery?

The Swell dresser features a signature wave detail that adds a whimsical, modern touch — customers love how it elevates themed nurseries without feeling overdone. Available in finishes like walnut and white, it pairs beautifully with the Swell crib for a cohesive nursery look.

The Swell dresser is priced higher than some options — is it worth it?

Customers who initially hesitated on price consistently say the quality justifies the cost, with one reviewer noting, 'Pricey but you do get the value for it.' Real wood construction and a fully assembled delivery make it a premium piece that feels worth every dollar.

What safety features should I look for when buying a dresser for a nursery?

Look for a dresser that includes an anti-tip kit, which anchors the piece securely to the wall — this is an important safety step in any room where a child will be present. A sturdy, solid construction also matters, since a heavier, well-built dresser is less likely to shift or wobble during everyday use.

How do I know whether a smaller or larger dresser is the right fit for my nursery?

A smaller dresser works well in compact nurseries and still offers enough storage for newborn essentials, while a larger dresser provides extra drawer capacity that grows with your child and can double as a changing station with a changing pad on top. Measuring your available wall space before you shop — and considering whether you want room on the surface for a changing pad — will help you choose the right size with confidence.
