All-Stages® 8-in-1 Crib with Bassinet & Toddler Bed Kits by Nate Berkus

How many stages does an all-stages crib actually cover, and will it really last beyond the baby years?

All-stages cribs are designed to grow with your child across multiple configurations — from bassinet and mini crib through full crib, toddler bed, and beyond — so you're not buying a new sleep space every year. Customers consistently describe it as a long-term investment they can already see the value in from day one.

Is an all-stages crib safe for a newborn from the very first night?

Yes — babyletto all-stages cribs are GREENGUARD Gold certified, meaning they've been tested for chemical emissions and meet strict standards for products used in environments with babies and children. The bassinet stage comes with a firm mattress pad appropriate for safe infant sleep.

Will an all-stages crib work in a smaller nursery or apartment bedroom?

The bassinet and mini crib stages have a noticeably smaller footprint than a standard full-size crib, making them a popular choice for apartments and tighter spaces. Customers in smaller homes specifically call out that the crib fits beautifully without feeling bulky, and the wheels make repositioning easy as your space needs change.

Does the crib come with a mattress, and do I need to buy different mattresses for each stage?

The bassinet stage includes a firm mattress pad sized for that configuration. As the crib grows into larger stages, you'll want to confirm the correct mattress size for each — babyletto's customer support team can help you match the right mattress to the right stage before you buy.

How accurate are the finish colors shown online — will the crib actually match my nursery?

Customers consistently report that the colors arrive true to what's shown on the product page — one buyer specifically noted the walnut color was just as pictured, and another loved the sage as a muted, versatile shade of green. The wood grain and finish are frequently described as smooth, chic, and easy to pair with other furniture.
