Will a standard crib fit comfortably in a smaller nursery?

Standard cribs are sized to fit a full crib mattress, so measuring your nursery before you buy is always a smart first step. babyletto customers with smaller nursery spaces have noted that their cribs fit well without overwhelming the room, making them a practical choice even when square footage is limited.

What should I look for in a mattress to pair with a babyletto standard crib?

A standard crib mattress is what you need — and several babyletto customers mention purchasing a quality mattress alongside their crib for a complete, cohesive setup. Look for a firm, properly fitting mattress that sits snugly in the crib frame with no gaps around the edges, which is an important part of a safe sleep environment.
